The Product

Packaging & presentation matches up to the trade press advertisements professionally presented, well packed. Delivery very good securely wrapped in a disguised box, next day delivery as promised.

Fitting the Unit

With my particular unit no technical knowledge required, follow simple instructions no problems at all. 30 minutes max will see the job completed

Before After
My vehicle has currently only 2000 miles on the clock and managed 40 mpg. Bare in mind my car is still very tight, this figure should get better as the car carbons up a little and loosens up. 50mpg+
Car was a little noisy up to around 15 mph. Much quieter, even on tick over even when cold
Turbo lag noticeable when the car was pushed. Brilliant power delivery across the range, Turbo lag has all but disappeared
Bottom end performance was lack lustre to say the least. Smoother delivery with the ability to change up up that little bit earlier and have more than power.
Mid Range Performance OK. More Power and Pace when and where you want it.

Overall the car’s performance has been transformed completely, with the added bonus of improved economy.

"I was getting around 43mpg as std & around 10k miles this rose to 44-45 with the K&N and is now up to 48mpg with the tunit. I always brim my van and record the mileage (sad eh!). I am also sure that if I weren’t in such a rush all the time 50mpg would be possible.

"So there you have it. It really is that simple. Buy a 105bhp VAG based vehicle from Polo to Skoda Superb. Without having to pay the premium for the 130-140 model. Then get it up to tunit, or if you can change an oil filter do it yourself & fit one of their magic boxes. They can also supply a K&N if you want a little bit extra. Then revive the 1960’s Q-car merits (19% more power & 22% more torque) but with 50mpg easily available. Also the tunit box is probably transferable to your next VAG diesel (after checking with tunit of course)."

David Ancill is no stranger to Tunit, having had his BMW 320d tuned two years ago when the car was new, and an Audi A4 1.9TDI before that.
