Tunit has been synonymous with diesel performance tuning for over 10 years. Through attention to detail and the monitoring of market conditions, significant investment has been made in our product and staff, resulting in exceptional technical know how and continuous research and development.

As diesel vehicles became more popular due to market demand, Tunit saw the disadvantages of many existing tuning products that were on the market. We took the principle of enhancing a diesel engine, and came up with an adjustable, externally fitted system that could be individually programmed for the specific diesel vehicle application.

This attention to detail combined with unrivalled customer service, support and after sales paid off, and Tunit is now a multinational brand with a worldwide network of licensees.

Tunit provides an efficient and adaptable method of enhancing a vehicles performance (power and torque) without the need to alter the vehicles original equipment or programming. The advantages of the tunit are; adjustment for optimum efficiency (both manually, by the customer and electronically, via a PC by a distributor), and flexibility, as in movement from one vehicle to the next and ease of installation. The principle of the tunit is to provide all these advantages that previous methods of tuning such as EPROM replacement and "flashing" or OBD tuning could not. The tunit performance product carries an extensive three year warranty, part exchange program and after sales service.

While increasing performance of diesel cars has always been the priority, Tunit are able to offer increased fuel economy of up to 10%. Some of our customers have even recorded in excess of a 20% improvement in fuel economy, however we prefer to be conservative so as not to disappoint. Ultimately what you achieve is dependant on individual driving style.

Imporoved fuel economy is gained through the tunit giving your diesel more torque, which is the measurement of an engine’s pulling force. Torque is more relevant to diesel engines, and it’s the torque you will feel when your diesel-powered vehicle is pulling strongly through the gears. Diesel engines have much more torque than a similar capacity petrol engine, and it’s this extra ‘grunt’ that allows diesel vehicles to pull and carry much heavier loads. The torque, and in turn the peak performance of a diesel engine is generated at a much lower RPM than a petrol engine, and less revolutions of the engine produces better fuel economy. The tunit improves torque and moves its peak to an even lower rpm, therefore improving fuel economy even further.
